Your first visit to Ernest L. Isaacson, DPM, FACFAS establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. To understand what to expect for your first visit to our practice, please read through this page. You’ll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office and more. There’s also background information about our committed staff and our first visit procedures. You can even save some time at your first visit by printing out and completing the patient forms in advance of your appointment.
With various types of treatment available for most conditions, Dr. Isaacson practices conservative care where practical, such as a basic lifestyle modification, or the addition of shoegear accessories, such as an orthotic device. Other noninvasive treatments have been proven to alleviate common conditions such as plantar fasciitis (heel pain), tendonitis and bunions.
After conservative treatment has been attempted, surgical options are explored thoroughly between doctor and patient.
Either way, Dr. Isaacson encourages his patients to become informed, communicate their concerns and ask questions with confidence, expecting to get thorough answers to their questions.
At the office you can expect to be treated as family, as we would want to be treated.
